Aqua Expeditions was the first adventure travel company to introduce five-star luxury cruises on the Amazon River in Peru and Mekong River in Vietnam and Cambodia. In July 2015 renovations and upgrades have been overseen by the vessel’ original designer, renowned Peruvian architect, Jordi Puig for all public interiors and exterior areas.

• The Peruvian Amazon is the area of the Amazon rainforest included within the country of Peru. This region comprises 60% of the country and is marked by a large degree of biodiversity.
• Itinerary: Aria Amazon sails through the Amazon River, considered the longest river on earth, and its tributaries. Guests travel far into the depths of the Amazon’s rainforests enjoying an intimate glimpse of her wildlife, ecosystems, local customs and marine and jungle landscapes.
• Flights: Passengers take a flight from Lima city at Jorge Chavez International Airport (LIM) to Iquitos city and arrive at Coronel FAP Francisco Secada Vignetta International Airport (IQT).

Our professionally trained naturalist guides grew up on the banks of the Amazon, and know every bird and mammal call as well as they do the sound of their mother’s voice.
There is a high-tech telescope on board and IPads with a special app to identify planets and constellations and stargazing.
Guests can enjoy a movie night with popcorn and a favorite drink in our indoor lounge.
On the last day of the cruise, guests will be part of a special farewell celebration with live music on board

He sources around 70% of all ingredients within Amazonia and credits Aqua Expeditions with helping him to better understand the people and ecosystem of the Amazon.
• Inclusions : all meals while on board, beverages (non-alcoholic, house wine and national beer), children’s and vegetarian meals are available, please request in advance.
• The Indoor Lounge & Bar are open from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and hot coffee is always available. The hours can be extended as needed. Complimentary house beer, wine, coffee, tea and soft drinks are available all day.
